SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
--------------------
Jailbird requires that the computer have at least a VGA monitor and card, 
and a mouse. It should operate under virtually any memory configuration, 
but 512k is recommended. DOS v2.1 or higher.

INSTALLATION: 
-------------
The installation routine included with this package will test for the above 
minimum requirements. If it discovers that your system does not meet any of 
these requirements, it will simply stop and exit without taking any action.

If you have obtained this product on a floppy disk, simply place the disk in 
your floppy drive and type A:INSTALL (or B:INSTALL if approprirate) and press 
[ENTER].

If you have obtained this product in a ZIP archive format, you should first 
extract the files from the ZIP archive into a "temporary" subdirectory on your 
hard disk drive (i.e. C:\TEMP). Then you should switch to that temporary 
subdirectory, type INSTALL, and then press [ENTER].

The installation utility will then install the program files and necessary 
documentation to a "permanent" subdirectory on your hard drive (i.e. 
C:\JBIRD). Once the installation is complete and you have verified that the 
program loads and operates, you may delete all of the installation files from 
the temporary subdirectory.
